Count me in the 1,000. Use my e-mail address to let me know when the PayPal option opens up. Will we get updates on the "Ride" or on the preparation for the "Ride"?

After Dakar, you really need to go to the Isle of Mann before you get to old.

Good luck mate!!!
Dakar. What a mind altering experience.

We have a bit to do with Andy Caldecott, our KTM/Husaberg dealer.

He did O.K. last year as you would well Know.

Hope your venture goes ahead and you fulfill your ambitions.

Once again, good luck.

I'd try a Gyro if I was You. However, I would fork over 40 Euros if I had them, All I have is a heap of Guilders and French Franks left over from the wedding visit.
If they are any good, they are yours!

Thanks for the positive comments.
I'm not able check in everyday at the moment due to work, but holidays are coming soon.

Spread the word as much as you like! The more the merrier... and again, thanks.

I've been passing your story on to a couple of Tri-state based motorcyclist clubs. I'll drum up some more support when you get the Paypal account going.

Hi Pete

have sent your message to a number of old mates ( you know them all well), and hope to organise some names for your tank real soon. Good luck with this venture, I am mighty jealous, but have to say that a 48 litre tank in the sand should give you forearms like Popeye !! Do they have Jim Beam in Dakar ?

cheers mate

Tesing,

What is a bloke ... or did you mean you were broke? Do you guys still wear wooden shoes in in Holland?

Cheers,
